The First Workshop in Industrial Organization is a joint initiative of the Bologna Centre for Law and Economics – BCLE and Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance – EIEF. The idea is to start building a scientific network of economists working in IO with regular annual meetings hosted by BCLE and EIEF.

The workshop will take place this year in Bologna at the Department of Economics of the University of Bologna on December 19-20, 2011 (see below for a timetable).

All presentations are in plenary sessions and time will be left for informal discussions. Theoretical and empirical papers in industrial organization will be presented. Presentation of work in progress is particularly encouraged.
